Lula responds to Trump: "Don’t interfere in Brazil’s elections"
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva sent a direct message to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, when summarizing his participation in the G7, in Évian-les-Bains, France.
During a press conference in Geneva, Switzerland, shortly after Lula’s participation in the G7 Leaders’ Summit.
“For me, you can keep being a fan of Bolsonaro, the father, the son, the grandson—there’s no problem. Now, don’t get involved in Brazil’s elections, because Brazil’s elections are a problem for Brazil, just as American elections are a problem for them, not for me. The only thing I want is respect for Brazil, which I have for the U.S.”
