TON's Second Wind as Telegram's Bet on Blockchain in 2026

After a rough stretch through late 2025 and early 2026, Toncoin has made a dramatic return to relevance.

$TON is up roughly 88% over the past 7 days, significantly outpacing the broader crypto market, which gained about 2.5% in the same window.

The catalyst? 👉Leadership. Telegram founder Pavel Durov and Telegram itself have stepped into a more active, visible role in the network's direction sparking a 63% surge in just three days and a 650% explosion in trading volume.

TON currently sits at around $2.77, with a market cap of approximately $6.7 billion, ranking it around #20 globally.

Its all-time high was $8.25 meaning it's still roughly 70% below peak.
