The market seems to be “immune” to news that Saylor is selling BTC.
The first test came in early June, when Strategy sold about 32 BTC. Bitcoin then sharply crashed from the 77.1k area down to 59k, and market sentiment was extremely sensitive to bad news at the time.
But in later instances, with the same kind of news about selling BTC, the market’s reaction was completely different. Not only did the price not keep falling, it also absorbed sell pressure very quickly and rebounded strongly.
What’s notable isn’t how many BTC Saylor sells, but how the market reacts to that news. When a “bad news” item is no longer strong enough to drag the price down, it’s often a sign that buying pressure is stronger and that market sentiment has changed.
“News stays the same, but the market’s reaction has changed. And sometimes, that’s the signal worth watching the most.”
