🚨 $OPN just printed a massive 3.3x sell volume spike — distribution or simply a final shakeout before a reversal?
Right now, the chart still looks bearish.
The combination of heavy selling pressure, elevated volume, and bearish confirmation across multiple indicators suggests that sellers remain in control unless buyers can reclaim the key resistance zone.
📍 Key resistance: 0.1927 – 0.1959
My preferred scenario is to wait for a weak bounce into this area and watch for rejection signals such as:
🔻 Bearish rejection wick
🔻 Lower high formation
🔻 Breakdown from a small consolidation
Potential short setup:
📌 Entry: Rejection from 0.1927–0.1959
🎯 Targets: 0.1637 → 0.1500 → 0.1403
🎯 Extended target: 0.1193 if selling pressure continues
🛑 Stop-loss: Above the local swing high formed during the retracement.
There is also an alternative scenario.
If price sweeps the 0.1402–0.1193 zone and immediately shows strong bullish absorption with large reversal wicks and aggressive buying volume, a short-term bounce could become possible.
However, I would only consider longs after clear confirmation:
✅ Bullish engulfing candle
✅ Double bottom formation
✅ Strong reversal structure on 5m or 15m
On the other hand, if $OPN breaks above 0.1959 and successfully holds that level, the bearish thesis becomes much weaker and I would reassess the market structure before looking for new short opportunities.
