Spark has announced it is expanding to institutional lending with #maplefinance !

$50M has gone into #maplefinance 's SyrupUSDC, giving Spark access to overcollateralized offchain/ onchain lending. This is one of the largest #defi allocations with the potential to rise to $100M.Spark users can now earn institutional yield through secured loans, managed by Maple onchain via $syrupUSDC. The yield is sourced from #maplefinance 's institutional lending. How it will work:

1️⃣ Spark allocates $50m to $syrupUSDC
2️⃣ The return accrues immediately via $syrupUSDC
3️⃣ Yield comes from overcollateralized loans to top crypto institutions, backed by digital assets
4️⃣ Users can access this institutional and #DEFİ returns with Spark Savings

For Spark:
- Institutional-grade lending
- Crypto-backed credit exposure
- Transparent, onchain-backed revenue
- All while maintaining protocol-level control
