Day 11 of farming Binance Alpha with 1030U. Today I farmed pPOLY and lost 1.2U to fees. I’ve seen people say farming pPOLY is cheap, but it feels about the same to me. Am I doing something wrong? I set slippage to 0.05% and transaction gas to standard.
There’s a new Alpha today. People say farming at the 1000U tier leads to huge losses, so I’m wondering if I’d be better off waiting for the listing and buying 20U worth of each one. If one doubles, I could sell and get my principal back—that would at least give me something to hope for. And who knows, maybe I’ll get one like BTW, where one is worth ten. Not sure if this strategy would work.
Day 10 of farming Binance Alpha with 1030u: I kept farming $DGAI and lost 0.9u. I’ve kept at it because there’s not much else to do, and there’s nothing new on Alpha, so I might as well keep adding points. I saw people saying that farming $pPoly through a wallet seems to have lower slippage and can also earn trading rewards. I missed out, so I’ll have to try it next time.
The #StandX I farmed on-chain earlier has also launched pre-market trading on Aspecta. Its current pre-market FDV is $293.65M. I farmed this project around this time last year, but only during the first half of the campaign. It’s been such a long wait—those who can hold on deserve to get rich! This project is also a key DEX and perp project in the #BSC ecosystem, and YZI Labs has invested in it too. Let’s see if I can get a few scraps.
Kept farming $DGAI and lost 1u. Recently started farming $XDP on Alpha and joined a trading competition, but the fees are a bit high. Then I followed along on a Korean exchange and caught a pump of several dozen percent. But farming is farming—don't hold on to make up for the losses, or you might end up losing money. Keep at it.
Meanwhile, spot trading slippage for #Arcus is pretty high over the weekend, so I'm taking a break and will be back at it on Monday.
It feels like holding Binance Alpha tokens long-term is pretty risky too. Exchanges usually delist only two or three tokens, but this time it was over a dozen, and many of them are basically as good as gone. They’re only good for short-term trading. For the long term, unless you buy a little of each and hold them, hoping one out of ten will rise severalfold, they’ll all end up worthless.
Kept farming $DGAI and lost 1u. I took a look at the posts on Binance Square, and everyone seems to be saying that Alpha airdrops are now really unfriendly to retail users—they’ve become a perk for big players only. It’s a bit like the late stage of $BNB IEOs, when everyone got a chance: the returns were pretty steady for big players, but retail users had very little room for profit because their principal was small.
Anyway, I’ll see how this round goes once I’m done farming. I’ll lose at most 20u. Maybe things will suddenly get better. I’m farming alongside #Arcus here.
According to this score, you need to earn more than 16 points a day. Based on 2 points in assets, trading needs to earn 14 points, which means the >$16,384 trading volume tier. Sigh, I started late and haven’t accumulated enough yet.
Looks like it’s going to rebound tonight, $AAOI . The closer it drops to around 100, the safer it is and the more likely a rebound becomes. Let’s try to use the gains to cover the trading costs from churning, #Arcus .
Seems like #Arcus can also be used to farm some points now, with crypto and stock trading. dYdX and Robinhood-backed DEX and derivatives trading—I traded about 1,000 USDT and got 0.5 points. Airdrop farming is a marathon.
My strategy now is to look for whatever has fallen the most and bet on a rebound on the second or third day. I’m holding $BULL.US now. The sharp drop was triggered by a report from the U.S. House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party, which accused Webull of promoting itself as an “American company” while actually having “structural ties” to the Chinese government.
Webull denied the report’s claims, calling them “inaccurate” and its conclusions “unsupported.” It also said the committee never sought clarification from the company, which it found “deeply disappointing.”
Time to start farming for the baseline allocation!
1030u scalp Binance alpha day 5: Today I continue using $DGAI , consuming 0.49u. Yesterday I bottom-fished $4Stock , but the autumn wind didn’t hit—now I’m stuck in it. So now I can only use a little over 500u to keep scraping each day. Alpha now is indeed not doing so well, but I just haven’t reached 15 days yet. If I manage to scrape up to 15 days, maybe the airdrop will be bigger.
No matter which army you join, once you actually start doing it, it’s better than doing nothing lol.
Day 4 of farming Binance Alpha with 1030 USDT Today I continued using $DGAI . Yesterday, I looked at other people’s strategy tips and realized the trick: place buy orders above the current order-book price and sell orders below the market price, then use opposing orders like this so both sides fill instantly. Today, I generated 10,000 USDT in trading volume, which cost about 0.4–0.5 USDT.
Turns out you can’t just grind away without learning the strategy first—I had to pay tuition 😅
I also noticed that $XDP is hosting an Alpha trading competition, but the 0.15% fee is a bit too high 😅 I’ll stick to today’s approach.
Day 3 of grinding Binance Alpha with 1030u: Oof 😣 My reverse order didn’t fill today, and I took a big loss farming $CT . Half of yesterday’s side profits got clawed back. I’ve farmed my way to 1044u today so far. Sigh—the point of picking up those little gains is probably just to build up some tolerance for losses.
I feel like $DGAI is still a bit better: the buy/sell spread at the original price is only 0.x, and it’s not very volatile. $CT fluctuates too much. Any tips for farming Alpha? 😭
Day 3 of farming Binance Alpha with 1030u: 1. I bought $TUT because of the Binance event. It underperformed even compared with other BSC MEME coins, and I barely made a few points in the end. I sold half before the event started and had basically sold it all by 9. 2. Today I kept farming with $DGAI 500-plus u, counting volume at 4x. I made four round trips. I was doing it on my phone at first, which was awkward, and I probably lost a little over 1u overall. It feels like even with reverse orders, it’s hard to pull off. Does it take some skill?
I’m currently holding 1060u. I’ll see if there are any news-driven opportunities to make a quick buck, then I’ll have more room to farm Alpha. #币安Alpha
Before I started刷 alpha today, I took advantage of the good news from Binance and made some quick buys. I bought $TUT , and it hasn’t started yet. I’m currently making a small profit, so I’ll sell this afternoon and keep刷 today’s alpha #币安 #BSC
Using 1030u to mine Binance alpha on the second day:
Today I switched to the same 4x trading volume, $DGAI . Today I used a bit over 500u, just in case. The $CT side has been fluctuating a bit too much, so I couldn’t keep a handle on it.
I lost about 1u, but it’s still within a controllable range.
dYdX Team’s new DEX #Arcus , backed by Robinhood Ventures, running on the Robinhood Chain. Over 100 tokenized stocks with 24/7 zero fees, perpetual coverage of stocks/crypto and the like up to 50x. It went live for isolated margin just in September. As of 7/21, it had already captured about 50% of that chain’s tokenized stock historical trading volume.
No airdrop has been confirmed yet, but dYdX past airdrop recipients should be familiar with it. We’ll grab a spot first. Project registration referral code: CKY (10% fee discount)
A few items that can actually be implemented: 1. Spot: 100+ tokenized US and global stocks, 7x24, trading fee 0. 2. Perpetuals: stocks, indices, commodities, crypto—up to 50x leverage, cross margin. 3. Liquidity: Robinhood plus top-tier market makers. 4.
