this is what you need to if you actually want to win a gas war
- know what funds are accepted and have them ready well in advance in the wallet you want to enter from
- take the stress of deciding how much you are going to allocate away from the gas war itself by deciding well before (don’t change your mind, you don’t need more stress)
- there aren’t many gas wars now so practice a tx so you know all the different places you need to click to speed up a tx (on rabby it’s fast - custom - enter gwei and priority fee) you may also need to click on ignore warnings if you haven’t interacted with that contract before. if you don’t practice this you might get lost at the crucial moment
- have more eth than you think you need to pay for gas, you do not want to speed up then not have enough eth
- slam 1k gwei and a few hundred priority fee if you really want something, obviously can be more or less depending on situation
- if you miss, do NOT leave. caps sometimes get filled faster than expected, and teams decide to go again (megaeth did this with their echo sale where they did another one 15 mins later; plasma did it today where they filled 250m, then they added another 250m)
- be in the discord whilst this is happening so you can see any official comms (plasma announced they would raise again in the announcement channel of the discord)
never lose a gas war again
