it went form "cannot marshal in to go type: length insufficient 384 require 416" to noticing the decoded parameters are the same for the same selector to finding where the cache was being contaminated.
the whole investigation cost maybe $40 in api credits and involved comparing outputs to foundry `cast run` as a reference.
