Most people hear “privacy” and immediately think about hiding transactions. But when blockchain is used for finance, the problem is much bigger. Financial data can be sensitive, yet the system still needs verification, rules, and trust.

US inflation data could have a significant impact on the direction of the market this week. The July CPI is due today, August 12, while the PPI will be released tomorrow, August 13.
In June, the CPI fell 0.4% month-on-month, while the annual rate was 3.5%. Now the market's attention is not only on the headline number but also on Core CPI, services prices and producer prices.
If the CPI comes in softer than expected and the PPI also shows a decrease in price pressures, then the hope for interest rate easing could be strengthened. On the other hand, the strong data could re-emphasize the inflation problem for the Fed.
To me, the real question is not whether the CPI will go up or down, but rather in which direction do the CPI and PPI together force the Fed to take the next step?
