According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Franklin Templeton has applied for an Ethereum #ETH spot ETF.
Franklin Templeton, one of the world's largest asset managers with approximately $1.4 trillion in assets under management, joined the race for a spot Bitcoin ETF in September 2023. Shares of the ETF are listed on the Cboe BZX exchange, and like most applicants, cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase serves as the fund’s custodian.
The Franklin #BTC Bitcoin ETF, whose ticker is EZBC, is now available and has a fee of 0.29%, which is mid-range among current spot ETFs.
