IMPORTANT NOTES WHEN ADDING AND USING P2P PAYMENT METHODS

In the past two months, I’ve traded P2P fairly often and learned a few notes that many people easily miss. Sometimes, these mistakes can cause problems with your bank account or even lead to a temporary lock.

🔹 Use your own bank account
The account holder’s name for the payment should match the name you verified on Binance. I don’t use anyone else’s account to transfer money, including family members, because this is one of the most common sources of disputes.

🔹 Double-check information before transferring
Before clicking to make a payment, I always re-check the recipient’s name, account number, bank, and amount. Even a small mistake in any detail can make the following process more complicated.

🔹 Read the ad requirements carefully
If the seller clearly states the payment method or requirements for the transfer content, I read them carefully before proceeding. In particular, don’t transfer to a different account on your own if that information doesn’t match the payment details shown on the order.

🔹 Don’t trade outside of Binance
If the counterparty asks you to transfer to another account, send an external link, or continue trading through a separate channel, I stop and check first. The safest way to do P2P is when all information and communication are kept within the platform.

🔹 Always save evidence
After each transaction, I keep the transfer history, order ID, and the chat content that’s necessary. If the bank or Binance requires verification, I can provide clear information instead of having to look everything up from the beginning.

Wishing you all good luck
