If you like ranges, you’re destined to not be able to catch trends. If you trade trends, you’re destined to be tormented by ranges. There’s no way around it—this is an objective reality. If a teacher can, at any time and in any kind of market, always make things easy and profitable, and if you believe in it too, then it only means your “easy mode” is already maxed out.

Most people actually don’t start out liking those supposedly always-profitable gurus. It’s just that, because they’ve lost terribly at certain stages, they don’t trust themselves anymore and begin to doubt themselves. At this time, if they happen to come across an always-profitable teacher, it’s like grabbing the last life-saving straw. But in truth, this is when your slide into the abyss really begins.

People who understand—and those who’ve been through it—naturally know what I’m talking about.

Trading isn’t hard, but it also isn’t simple. The one who can save you is always the version of yourself that keeps learning.
