🔥Cracked Down on a Major Cryptocurrency Scam in Da Nang, Vietnam

On December 15, 2025, Da Nang police collaborated with the Ministry of Public Security - Cybersecurity Department (A05) to arrest 8 suspects led by Huỳnh Đức Vân (33 years old).

- Since early 2020, this group has created a fraudulent cryptocurrency project named $DRK, heavily advertising with false information on social media to deceive investors.

- By the end of 2021, they suddenly shut down the project, deleted the website, fanpage, and related groups to appropriate all of the investors' capital.

- Stolen assets: >1,880 $BTC + >37,000 $ETH + ~2.7 million USDT (equivalent to ~2,000 trillion VND / ~80 million USD at 2021 prices).

Authorities have frozen related bank accounts and assets worth over 600 trillion VND -> The case is under further investigation.
