🎄 With the approach of Christmas, investors seem to be getting into the festive spirit by betting on the memecoin Rizzmas, created on Pump.fun. The token recorded a rise of over 50% in recent days, reaching a market value above $4 million, before experiencing a slight correction.

📉 At the end of November last year, Rizzmas was worth $94.26 million, but soon plummeted by 98%, leaving only $1.76 million at the beginning of this year. For much of 2025, the asset remained virtually stagnant, reaching a low of $602,150 in March.

📈 From there, the token rebounded strongly: it appreciated by over 600% and reached US$ 4.38 million, according to DEX Screener data, before dropping again by 12%, to US$ 3.82 million. Meanwhile, another memecoin linked to Dolana reached US$ 11.15 million in market capitalization in August.

👥 During this period, the team that took over the Rizzmas community has been dedicated to boosting the project, aiming to take the token to its “maximum potential.” Among the initiatives, they launched a minigame for iOS that uses ad revenue to burn tokens, in addition to Christmas-themed products and content.

🚀 And the plans don’t stop there. According to Naka Kash, CTO of the main team, the festive month will be marked by various actions:

- Billboards in New York

- Partnerships with major names

- Rizzmas Lottery

- Highlights on CoinMarketCap

- New token burning mechanisms by the community

- Large in-person marketing campaigns

Seasonal memecoins

Rizzmas is just one example among various cryptocurrencies created with seasonal themes or linked to specific events that draw attention during certain times of the year.

In many cases, these events do not have the cheerful tone of Christmas: some coins emerge when a celebrity passes away or on dates marked by tragedies, like the anniversary of the September 11 attacks. Typically, this type of cryptocurrency only succeeds for a short time, as public interest wanes soon after the event ends.

The team responsible for Rizzmas, however, tried to break away from this pattern. They gave the meme a new meaning: “rizz more” (something like “more rizz”). The term “rizz” comes from “charisma” and is used by Generation Z as slang for flirting, while “mas” means “more” in Spanish. Thus, the concept transforms into “flirt more.”

Despite this, at its core, Rizzmas remains a festive meme. Last Christmas, it stood out as the leader of a wave of Christmas-themed memecoins.

During that period, the Pump.fun platform recorded its peak: about 42,000 tokens launched per day, nearly US$ 5 million in daily revenue, and a weekly volume of US$ 3.1 billion. Today, the numbers are much lower — approximately 21,800 tokens per day, US$ 750,000 in daily revenue, and US$ 568.3 million in weekly volume, according to Dune data.
