The cryptocurrency world turned 100,000 into 42,000,000: I survived solely by being 'not greedy'

I know a veteran in the crypto world who started with 100,000 and made it to 42,000,000. One thing he said has stuck with me:

'In the crypto world, everyone's emotions are like a roller coaster. If you can keep your cool, the market will give you money.' I have truly experienced this.

In the early days, I was very greedy and loved to operate recklessly:

I opened a position with 20,000, and when it rose to 21,000, I panicked and took profits, earning a pleasant 5%. Later, it shot up to 25,000, and I regretted missing out on 50% more profit, hitting my thigh in frustration.

Later, I learned my lesson and wanted to hold longer. Again, starting with 20,000 and seeing it rise to 21,000, I didn’t sell. Unexpectedly, the market turned and dropped back to 20,000, even falling to 19,500. In the end, I could only cut my losses, feeling like I had worked hard for nothing.

After a few ups and downs, I gained insight and summarized a simple method:

I only focus on mainstream coins, and I don’t touch those hyped new coins.

I wait until they drop significantly and start to recover slowly, only then do I take action. I don’t guess the lowest point to avoid getting stuck halfway.

I first take a 10% position as a base, and after confirming an upward trend, I add 20%-30% during a pullback, even if the price is higher than the lowest point, it makes me feel secure.

The most crucial thing is 'locking in profits': with every rise, I take out the principal and half of the profits, letting the rest run.

No matter how crazy the market gets, I sell once I hit my target, not being greedy for even a bit more.

Last year, I helped a friend who lost over 600,000. Following this method, he not only broke even in six months but also made enough for a BMW X3.

In fact, the crypto world doesn’t lack smart people; it lacks those who can control their hands and be patient.

While others are busy chasing highs and cutting losses, we methodically follow the trend, instead able to pick up the money they drop.

Ultimately, the core to making money in crypto can be summed up in two words: not greedy.

Many people are trapped in a cycle of losing and then earning, only to lose again. It’s not that they aren’t working hard; they just haven’t found the right rhythm.

Opportunities arise every day, and they won’t wait for you. But by following the right people and adhering to the rules, you can walk out of the darkness. @bit福多多
