Q &A

Question:

The project team says they haven’t authorized any individual or organization in China. What do they mean by that? ( refers to my speech in China in one hour)

Answer:

Many pioneers misunderstand this announcement, so let’s clarify it clearly.

The Core Team (PCT) and the Pioneer Community are partners.

Not superiors and subordinates.

Not command and follower.

Not government and citizens.

Pi Network is a community-driven ecosystem, which means:

The community represents itself, not the project team.

The Core Team handles technical development, infrastructure, blockchain, and platform security.

The Pioneer Community handles economic development, education, GCV consensus, and ecosystem building.

So when the Core Team says “We have not authorized any individual or organization in China,” it simply means:

➡️ No one is allowed to pretend to represent the Core Team.

➡️ No one can issue orders or make decisions in the name of PCT.

➡️ No one can interfere with community growth by claiming “PCT asked me to.”

This protects both the Core Team and the community.

It does NOT mean the community cannot organize itself.

It does NOT mean the community needs permission to grow.

It does NOT mean the community is restricted.

It doesn't mean GCV must get PCT sponsor or guidance or approval.

It's because GCV must be from pioneers community not PCT.

In Pi Network, we build together — side by side, not top-down.

Community builds community.

PCT builds technology.

Together, we build Pi.
