🔥Did Microstrategy (Strategy) sell its Bitcoins? It's not what it seems 👀
Since early on, I observed some posts on social media, where I noticed that some content creators claimed that #strategy had sold its #bitcoins , just when the price of #bitcoin was falling, however, this was just a rumor and is false.
According to the on-chain data shown in @Arkham Intelligence, it is observed that there have been significant movements of Bitcoins from the (partially identified) wallets of Strategy, which some interpreted as a sale. Quickly, Michael Saylor came out to deny these rumors, saying that it is not true.
What Strategy was doing was moving 58,915 BTC for custody management (internal transfers). I think they simply chose a bad time to do it, as the price of Bitcoin was looking for new lows at the levels of 94k, alerting investors.
If there were any type of sale by Strategy, I think it would be communicated, as it has been doing with its buying strategies. The question is, what will happen to the price of bitcoin the day it does?🤔
