Woken up by fans crying at 2 AM! Asking me how to help her, who is in debt, return to a normal life?

12000U account completely liquidated

At 2 AM, my phone kept buzzing.

When I answered the video call, that female fan from Jiangsu had red eyes:

Brother Yu, my 12000U account has exploded... I had all my funds in with more than 10 times leverage, how could it just disappear?

I asked her to send the trading records—sure enough, she had bet everything on 12000U without even setting a stop-loss.

Many people mistakenly believe that "putting everything in = making money quickly," but the truth is quite the opposite:

Putting everything in is like a car without brakes; if you make one wrong turn, it instantly goes to zero.

The key to liquidation is often not the leverage multiple, but the weight of the position.

For example: with an 800U account, if you use 750U all in at 5x leverage, a 6% reverse fluctuation will directly lead to liquidation;

But if you only use 75U at 5x leverage, you would need an 86.7% fluctuation to lose everything—your risk tolerance is nearly 12 times worse.

She risked 96.7% of her principal; under 5x leverage, she couldn't withstand a small retracement.

This year I have encountered many pitfalls, and I have summarized three "rules to survive with all-in trading."

Not only did I avoid losing my principal, but my account also steadily grew by nearly 80%:

1. Use only 7% of total funds per trade

For example, with a 6000U account, the maximum for a single trade is 420U. Even if a 7% stop-loss is triggered, it would only result in a loss of 29.4U, which does not affect the overall situation.

2. Single trade loss should not exceed 1.1% of total funds

For instance, using 420U at 5x leverage, set a 1% stop-loss line in advance, and the actual loss would be 8.4U ≈ 1.1% of total funds, decisively stopping the loss without getting trapped.

3. Be vague

When the market is uncertain, stay out of the market

Do not increase your position because of profits; wait for the trend to become clear—only enter when the daily line breaks through key points and volume supports it.

There was a fan who kept liquidating every month, but after using these three rules, she increased her account from 3500U to 58000U in four months.

She said: "I used to think going all-in was a gamble for my life; now I understand that true all-in is about living longer."

No longer walking alone in the dark, I have lit a lamp for you. The light is on; will you come?
