Crypto Terms Explained #1 — What Is Blockchain? 🔗
Before we talk about trading, tokens, or wallets, let’s start from the foundation — Blockchain.
In simple words, a blockchain is like a digital record book 📚 that stores information in blocks, linked together in a chain.
✅ Every block contains data (like transactions).
✅ Once a block is added, it can’t be changed — making it secure and transparent.
✅ Instead of one person controlling it, the record is shared across thousands of computers — so everyone can verify the truth.
That’s why people trust blockchain:
🔹 It’s open.
🔹 It’s secure.
🔹 It removes the need for middlemen.
Think of it as a public diary of digital events that everyone can see, but no one can secretly edit.
💡 In my next post, I’ll explain “What Is a Crypto Wallet?” — how it works and why you need one to store your crypto safely.

Crypto Terms Explained #4 — Coin vs Token 🪙 One of the most common beginner questions is: 👉 “What’s the difference between a coin and a token?” Let’s keep it simple: 🪙 1. Coins Coins run on their own blockchain. Examples: Bitcoin ($BTC ) → Bitcoin network Ethereum ($ETH ) → Ethereum network $BNB → BNB Chain Coins are mainly used for: Payments Transaction fees Storing value Think of coins as the main currency of a blockchain. 🎟️ 2. Tokens Tokens do not have their own blockchain — they are built on top of another blockchain. Example: SHIB (on Ethereum) CAKE (on BNB Chain) USDT (multiple chains: ETH, TRX, BNB, etc.) Tokens are used for: Utility (access to a platform) Governance (voting rights) DeFi and GameFi projects Think of tokens as apps that run on a blockchain. 🔍 In short: Coins = blockchain’s native currency Tokens = assets built on a blockchain In my next post, I’ll explain “What Is Market Cap in Crypto?” — a key concept to understand project value. 👉 Follow for simple, clean crypto learning every week! 🚀 #CryptoBasics #BinanceSquare #LearnCrypto #blockchaineducation #CryptoForBeginners

Did you start your crypto journey on a centralized exchange or a DEX? 💱 Comment below — I’d love to know which platform you first used! 👇

Crypto Terms Explained #3 — What Are Crypto Exchanges? 💱 Now that you know what a crypto wallet is, let’s talk about where people actually buy, sell, and trade crypto — on crypto exchanges. A crypto exchange is an online platform that works like a digital marketplace for cryptocurrencies. Just like you go to a shop to buy groceries 🛒 — you go to an exchange to buy or sell crypto. There are two main types of exchanges: 🏦 Centralized Exchanges (CEX) — like Binance, Coinbase, or OKX Managed by a company Easy to use Ideal for beginners 🔗 Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) — like Uniswap or PancakeSwap No single company controls them You trade directly from your wallet More control, but slightly harder to use 💡 Tip: For beginners, starting on a trusted centralized exchange like Binance is the safest and easiest way to begin your crypto journey. In short: > Wallet = Where you keep your crypto. Exchange = Where you buy and sell crypto. Next, I’ll explain “Crypto Terms Explained #4 — What Is a Token vs Coin?” — a common question that confuses many beginners. 👉 Follow for clear and simple crypto learning every week! 🚀 #CryptoExchanges #BinanceSquare #learncrypto #CryptoForBeginners #BlockchainBasics101 #CryptoTrading #Web3Simplified #CryptoEducation #CryptoJourney
