Federal Deputy Julia Zanatta
(PL-SC) celebrated the end of the DREX system of centralized digital currency that had been created by the Central Bank of Brazil.
In a statement on her social media, the parliamentarian declared that the project has sunk. She also recalled the PEC authored by her that would place the creation and issuance of currencies as a decision solely of the National Congress, as well as her petition "No to Drex."
