Quick Take: Plasma (XPL) — November 5, 2025
XPL trades at $0.33, down slightly (-2.1%) over 24h, with a market cap ≈ $590 million and 24h volume $210 million. Despite the minor correction, Plasma’s stablecoin-native network remains one of the most active Layer-1 blockchains, processing 1,300 TPS and averaging $2.4 billion in daily USDT transfers.
The Plasma v1.1 update (November 4) brought major throughput optimization and activated USDC zero-fee routes, widening adoption across Asia-based payment corridors. Over 40 DeFi protocols are now building on Plasma’s EVM-compatible framework, with RWA and Gaming projects onboarding through Plasma BFT Bridge.
From a market-structure view, XPL holds support at $0.30 and faces resistance near $0.36. RSI (54) and flattening volume suggest consolidation before the next major move. A break above $0.36 could retest $0.42, while failure to hold $0.30 risks a pullback to $0.27.
Plasma is evolving into the global settlement rail for stablecoin transactions.
