Is your cryptocurrency application unresponsive? AWS is experiencing a significant outage.

Here’s what is known so far:

1. Amazon Web Services (AWS) reports an increase in errors and delays in the us-east-1 region in Virginia. This is a major central region, so the scope of the impact is global. Many applications are currently unstable.

2. Coinbase is among the affected platforms. Users are facing login and access issues related to AWS.

3. Robinhood, Venmo, Chime, and even the London Stock Exchange Group's data services. In the UK, HMRC and several banks have encountered issues. These are infrastructure problems, not market issues.

4. What you may see: failed logins, stuck transfers, delays in price updates, and errors in the API. Price tracking tools like CoinMarketCap may be delayed in updating if their cloud endpoints are down. It’s about availability, not a chain halt.

5. Blockchains continue to produce blocks, but your access layer is fragile. If your broker or wallet interface relies on AWS, expect outages or stale data until recovery.

> Do not send orders or repeated withdrawals.

> Avoid repeated logins.

> Check balances through a secondary source.

> If you are managing your own node or alternative endpoints, switch.

> Monitor the official status pages for your application and AWS health.
