Imagine if your favorite digital character could livestream, act, sing, or chat—and you own it. Not just as a fan, but as its creator. That’s what Holoworld AI aims for: giving creators full control, ownership, and power over AI agents—not just as tools, but as verifiable, tradeable digital people / IP (intellectual property).
Many platforms today help you build bots or generate static content. But what about fully dynamic agents: with voice, avatar, independent behaviour, monetization, and interaction with the Web3 world? That’s the gap Holoworld is trying to fill.
What Holoworld AI Actually Is
Holoworld is a platform / ecosystem built around AI agents. These are digital beings that can:
talk (voice or text)
appear (avatar, visual presence)
act autonomously (use plugins, get live data, respond)
be owned, traded, monetized on blockchain.
Key features include:
No-code tools to create agents. You don’t need to be a programmer. You can pick templates, characters, behaviours.
Visual production tools for content: video generation with script, voice, avatars, music, sound effects — all in “Ava Studio”.
A marketplace / agent-market where agents are created, deployed, traded; they are digital IPs.
Open MCP (“Model-Context Protocol”) — connectors that allow agents to interact with blockchains, smart contracts, dApps, multi‐chain environments. So agents aren’t stuck; they can read on‐chain data, transact, respond to blockchain events.
Token systems: multiple ones including HOLO, AVA, Holo Credits, etc., which are used for rewards, payments, governance.
Deep Dive: Tools & How They Work
Let’s look more closely at some of the major components.
Ava Studio
This is the content production engine. You feed it a prompt, or media (image, PDF, etc.), and get back a short video with multiple scenes, script, narration, music, effects.
You can edit all parts: change the visuals, timing, narration, even music. If a scene looks off (say the background doesn’t match), you can tweak it.
There is a credit model: generating video segments, voice, images costs “Holo Credits.” For example, voiceover per minute costs a certain number of credits. The credits correspond to underlying costs (model usage, rendering, etc.).
Agent Market & Create-AI
Agent Market is where agents (characters) live. You can create, buy, sell agents. They have personalities, 2D/3D appearances, skills, “knowledge bases.”
The Create-AI page has templates, so for example: memecoin shiller agent, market wizard agent (which pulls live crypto data), role-play companion, etc. So you pick a template or start from scratch.
Open MCP / EVM Agent Kit
OpenMCP = open source connectors so agents can interact with Web3 protocols. For example: query blockchain data (balances, token prices), call smart contracts, work across multiple EVM chains (Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, etc.).
EVM Agent Kit is a part of that: it's code (TypeScript) for developers who want to integrate agents with blockchains. So if you are a developer, you could build an agent that checks the price of some token and posts alerts or acts based on those.
Tokenomics: HOLO, AVA, Credits & Ownership
These systems are what make the economy run. Without fair incentives, such platforms fail.
HOLO Token
The native token of Holoworld’s ecosystem.
Total supply is 2,048,000,000 HOLO.
Initial circulating supply at launch: ~16.96%, which means ~347 million HOLO.
Allocation & Vesting
Various categories and unlock schedules:
Category% of total supplyUnlock / Vesting summaryEcosystem & Marketing~13.11 %Partial unlock at TGE, then over 12 months. Community Growth~20.93 %15% at TGE, then after 3-month cliff, 4 years linear vesting. Initial Community Rewards~10 %Some unlocked at TGE (30%), then remaining over 6 months. Foundation~18.4 %Some TGE, then cliff, then long vesting (~38 months). Advisors~3.5 %No immediate unlock, then 1-year cliff, then linear release over 3 years. Core Contributors~15.6 %Much locked, with long vesting to encourage retention. Investors~13.46 %Similar long vesting periods after certain cliffs. Liquidity Provisioning~5 %Meant for exchange liquidity. Fully available at TGE (Token Generation Event) for liquidity.
AVA Token & Holo Credits
AVA is another token / utility within the system. It is used for creators to “burn” for Holo Credits, which then pay for usage (video generation, API calls, etc.).
The credit system simplifies cost for creators: instead of paying in many ways, you burn AVA to get credits, then spend credits.
Ownership & On-Chain Verifiability:
Agents, once created, are recorded on blockchain (primarily Solana). This means you own the agent (IP), and it’s possible to trade/transfer it, share revenue, etc.
This also means agents can be composable: combining skills, assets, data, etc.
Real Use Cases: What Can You Actually Do
To make this more concrete, here are some examples of what creators, brands or everyday users might do with Holoworld AI.
Creator / Storyteller: You write fantasy stories. You build an agent who is your main character. That agent can livestream, chat with fans in your universe, share “episode” videos made in Ava Studio, and even sell digital merch or NFTs tied to the character. The fans interact, tip, buy, etc. You earn both via content and via the token economy.
Brand / Marketing: Suppose a company wants to promote a product. They use Ava Studio to make video promos cheaply and fast. They might use agent mascots to host streams, answer customer questions, or even do interactive campaigns. Because it’s all on chain, they may reward customers with tokens or NFTs.
DeFi / Crypto Info Bot: You want an agent that watches DeFi protocols’ stats (TVL, yield, prices) and posts updates, or signals trades. Using the EVM Agent Kit, that agent can query live data, respond to changes, automate actions (if permitted). Could be helpful for communities.
Entertainment / Virtual IP: Artists might create virtual avatars (2D or 3D), perhaps animated via Holo3D / enabling lip sync, expressions, etc. These agents can appear in livestreams or short videos, build follower bases, monetize via tips / subscriptions / token-driven rewards.
Status, Partnerships & Roadmap
Holoworld AI is not just theory; they are launching, working, iterating. Here are some status and expectations:
Ava Studio had a private alpha, then waitlist beta with hundreds of invite codes.
They have released product updates: character selection improvements, avatar video generation (VTuber style), real-time expressive animations, voice previews.
On the partner side: they've done collaborations with existing Web3 or NFT projects (like Pudgy Penguins) and brands to deploy agents or avatar content.
Roadmap or future work includes:
Expanding Ava Studio’s features (better consistency of avatars, more realistic visuals, more control over scenes, etc.)
Improving the OpenMCP tools so that non-developers can deploy agents that interact with the blockchain / protocols easily.
Strengths & Challenges
What Holoworld Does Well
Empowers creators: With tools that reduce friction (no code, templates, easy video + avatar production).
True ownership: Agents are on chain; IP is verifiable and tradable.
Multi-dimensional content: Voice, avatar, video, live streaming, interaction.
Web3 integration: Agents can do real smart contract interactions, multi-chain data.
Incentive alignment: Tokens and credits designed so creators and participators are rewarded, not just platform itself.
What to Watch Out For
User adoption: All the features mean little if creators & users don’t join. Network effects will matter.
Cost & quality trade-offs: AI generation tools sometimes produce artifacts, inconsistent visuals, etc. Maintaining high quality while scaling is hard.
Competition: Many platforms are entering AI + content + Web3 space. Holoworld needs to stay differentiated.
Token & incentive risk: Unlocked token amounts, vesting schedules, inflation, governance effectiveness, etc., need to be handled well to prevent value dilution or misuse.
Legal / IP / ethics: As agents produce content, deepfakes, rights, avatars with voice, etc., legal clarity will be important.
Why It Matters in The Big Picture
Holoworld AI is part of a broader shift:
We are moving from passive content consumption to interactive, agentic content—agents you can talk to, follow, co-create with.
Ownership matters: creators want not just platforms, but rights, revenue share, and asset ownership. Web3 promises that.
AI tools are getting powerful; pairing them with blockchain opens up new economies—agents can do actions, earn, trade.
Holoworld is trying to build a bridge: from ideas -> creation -> ownership -> monetization -> interaction.
