Coin World News reports that on September 27 (UTC+8), data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) shows that as of the week ending September 23, stock fund speculators reduced their net short positions in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) S&P 500 index futures by 31,451 contracts to 443,946 contracts; meanwhile, stock fund managers increased their net long positions in the index by 20,454 contracts to 912,089 contracts.
