According to PANews, Theta Capital Management is aiming to raise $200 million for its latest blockchain fund, Theta Blockchain Ventures V. This initiative comes as venture capital investment in the blockchain sector remains subdued. The fund plans to allocate resources to 10 to 15 venture capital firms focused on digital assets, targeting a net internal rate of return (IRR) of 25%. A spokesperson from Theta confirmed the details of this fundraising effort.

Currently, Theta Capital Management oversees approximately $1.2 billion in assets. Its investment portfolio includes prominent cryptocurrency venture capital firms such as Pantera Capital, CoinFund, Polychain Capital, and Dragonfly.
