ZKC is the native token of Boundless, a universal zero-knowledge proving protocol created by RISC Zero.
The protocol is designed to let any blockchain or rollup use zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) without building all the infrastructure from scratch.
Boundless introduces a model called Proof of Verifiable Work (PoVW): provers lock ZKC as collateral to fulfill proof jobs, while requestors pay in the native token of the chain where the computation originates.
ZKC also powers staking, governance, and collateral for the proof marketplace
