$PYTH as the Invisible Backbone of DeFi’s Next Phase
Every cycle, we talk about the next wave of innovation: DeFi summer, NFTs, GameFi, RWAs. But none of these work without infrastructure. Just as AWS powered Web2, oracles like Pyth might quietly power Web3’s next evolution.
What excites me is that Pyth isn’t chasing hype. It’s building something boring but essential: accurate, fast, reliable data. If it succeeds, most users won’t even know they’re interacting with @Pyth Network . They’ll just see dApps that “work better.”
That invisibility is the hallmark of great infrastructure. Nobody thinks about TCP/IP when they use the internet, but it’s the backbone of everything. Pyth could be that for on-chain finance.
In my opinion, the projects that last aren’t the ones with the loudest communities, but the ones that become impossible to replace. If DeFi evolves into a trillion-dollar parallel financial system, Pyth could be one of the few protocols that every serious player relies on — silently, invisibly, but indispensably.
