PayPal Expands PYUSD to Nine New Blockchains
PayPal’s U.S. dollar stablecoin (PYUSD) has taken a major step forward in adoption. Through an integration with interoperability protocol LayerZero, the token will now be available on nine additional blockchains including Avalanche, Aptos, Sei, Tron, and more.
The expansion not only increases the stablecoin’s reach but also positions PayPal as a key player in blockchain-based payments and DeFi. PYUSD’s supply has already grown to $1.3 billion in 2025, more than doubling since the start of the year.
