Amount to be unlocked soon
According to RootData, approximately 3.11 million ACE tokens will be unlocked on September 18, 2025, at midnight (Beijing time). This amounts to ~US$ 1.83 million.
Another source (DropsTab) reports that the next unlock is ~3.01 million ACE, valued at ~$1.77 million, which corresponds to ~4.0% of the market capitalization of ACE.
Ratio vs circulating supply
ACE has a maximum supply of ~147 million tokens.
The current circulating supply is ~74.9 million ACE (≈́ 50-51% of the total).
Therefore, unlocking 3 million is an additional ~2-4% on what is already circulating, depending on which part of the supply is released (team, incentives, ecosystem, etc.).
Categories with locked tokens
There are several blocks with vesting: team/investors, incentives, ecosystem, treasury. Some allocations have cliffs (initial periods without unlocking), then linear vesting over several months.
Some parts of the token that were already unlocked (launchpool, certain rewards) already contribute to the circulating supply.
Unlock frequency / scales
It is not a single large event, but a series of staggered unlocks according to the vesting schedule of the ACE project. This helps to distribute the effects of new supply over time.
⚙️ What could this mean for price/risk?
Moderate selling pressure: every time tokens are unlocked, especially if they are from teams or investors, there is a possibility that some will sell to capture profits, which can exert downward pressure in the short term.
Proportional impact to the size of the unlock: given that these unlocks represent a modest percentage of the total supply, if demand is sufficient, the impact can be absorbed without significant drops.
Importance of context: if the overall market is bullish, or if ACE has good news at the same time, that unlock may not affect much; if the market is weak, it may exacerbate declines.
