#ALPHA I have said several times to check the pool before brushing points, but many people may not have been exposed to on-chain, and may not know how to look at the alpha token pool. Today, I will provide a step-by-step tutorial, progressing from beginner to advanced levels. The explanation is quite basic, so on-chain experts can skip this.
1. Beginner Level Filtering
If you just want to understand the size of the pool, you can directly check the 'On-chain Liquidity' on the Binance chart page. As shown in Figure 1, this is the overall liquidity situation of the pool. You can quickly filter out some coins that have little liquidity; generally, it is appropriate to have at least 1M (million) or more.
2. Check the liquidity distribution and liquidity providers
The alpha coin on the BNB chain maximizes liquidity utilization, most of which will add to the PancakeSwap V3 pool. V3 is concentrated liquidity, meaning that the liquidity added to the pool needs to specify an effective range. So we might want to know the liquidity in the pool, what price range are they in? Knowing this helps us determine a relatively stable price range because the smaller the liquidity, the larger the price fluctuations.
There are two methods to check the range. One is to search for the coin you want to see on the PancakeSwap official website (pancakeswap.finance/liquidity/pool/) and select the pool with the largest TVL. Look at the liquidity distribution, refer to Figure 2, - + can zoom in and out. However, the PancakeSwap interface has a limited display range and only shows liquidity near the current price.
If we want to understand the liquidity situation of all prices, what should we do? That involves the second method:
The second method requires going to Dexscreener, searching for the token you want to view, and under the token dashboard's lower section, there is a 'Liquidity Providers', see Figure 3. Here you can check the liquidity providers of this token and find the address with the largest share, which is basically the project team's address.
Then we can click the address to copy it and use debank to check the liquidity range provided by this address. In the portfolio of that address, click on PancakeSwap V3 or scroll down to find the V3 information, and we can see the liquidity distribution situation in Figure 4.
Find the largest LP among them, copy the LP number, and fill it into the following URL:
pancakeswap.finance/liquidity/LP number, you can see the price range of this liquidity, as shown in Figure 5.
You can click view price in to switch to USDT pricing display, or find the reciprocal, for example, for BNB trading pairs, the price changes to BNB price/X.
By sequentially browsing all LP price distributions of this mainstream liquidity address in Figure 4, you can basically understand the liquidity distribution of the entire pool.
Through the liquidity distribution situation, we can know which price range has the most sufficient liquidity and the most stable price, which range has the least liquidity, and is most likely to be sniped. Try to trade when the price is within a sufficient liquidity range.
3. Monitor liquidity
We need to monitor the liquidity situation in real-time before and during scoring, because if the project team wants to dump, they usually withdraw the liquidity first to sell, especially the narrow-range liquidity. Otherwise, the coins inside the range will be stuck. Now that we have the main liquidity address of the project team, we can use tools like GMGN or Dexscreener for monitoring. For example, after logging into GMGN, add the liquidity address in 'Tracking' and make a note for the address. This way, when we are scoring, we can open the GMGN interface, and if there is any movement in that address, it will trigger an alert. For example, the liquidity address just now had an addition of liquidity, and we can further check on the blockchain explorer (the method has been posted before). We will find that WOD just added a very narrow liquidity of 0.064-0.065, indicating that the price might stabilize here for a while.
If a large withdrawal from the pool occurs suddenly, stop scoring immediately.
Alright, I've typed quite a bit today. Some parts may not be clear or may contain errors, so feel free to leave comments in the comment section. I hope everyone won't be cannon fodder for new coins.
