Israel carried out a treacherous airstrike in Qatar’s capital, Doha, targeting Hamas’s leadership, but they survived. The attack occurred while Hamas’s negotiating team was discussing the US ceasefire proposal. In this warmongering assault, 6 people were martyred, marking another tragedy for Palestine.

🔥 What Happened in Doha?
Yesterday afternoon, 8 explosions were heard in Doha’s northern Katara district, with smoke rising from the area. According to the Qatari government, the attack targeted residential buildings of Hamas’s political bureau members. Israel immediately claimed responsibility, stating that the IDF and Shin Bet targeted “Hamas’s senior leadership.” According to Israeli media, the operation involved 15 fighter jets firing 10 munitions in seconds, attempting to target Khalil al-Hayya (chief negotiator) and Zaher Jabarin (West Bank leader). This is an open atrocity against Palestine’s rights!

🇵🇸 Hamas’s Bold Response:
Hamas stated that Israel’s assassination attempt failed, and their negotiating team, by the grace of Allah, survived. However, 5 members were martyred in the attack, including Khalil al-Hayya’s son, Humam, and his office director, Jihad Labad. Hamas called it a “heinous crime” and a “violation of international laws,” further claiming that the attack was Netanyahu’s attempt to sabotage ceasefire talks. Hamas also held the US responsible, as it supports Israel’s oppression. These brave people of Palestine are fighting for their rights, and we stand with them!

🇶🇦 Qatar’s Strong Condemnation:
Qatar called the attack “cowardly” and a “violation of international law,” as it harmed their sovereignty. Qatar’s Interior Ministry confirmed that one Internal Security Force member was martyred, and several others were injured. Qatar’s PM, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, stated that this is “state terrorism” and that they are forming a legal team to respond to this oppression. Qatar’s stance strengthens solidarity with Palestine.

🇺🇸 US’s Hypocritical Reaction:
The White House said that President Trump called the attack “unfortunate” but also stated that eliminating Hamas is a “worthy goal.”
