Ripple has partnered with Spain’s banking giant BBVA to expand digital asset custody services for retail clients. $XRP
This move builds on BBVA’s earlier launch of $BTC & $ETH trading/custody services and aligns with the EU’s MiCA regulatory framework.
The custody tech comes from Metaco, a Swiss firm acquired by Ripple, already supporting BBVA’s operations in Switzerland & Turkey. Ripple now holds over 60 global regulatory licenses.
