ARK Invest drives cryptocurrency bets with US$ 16 million in BitMine and US$ 7.5 million in bullish stocks

Cathie Wood's ARK Invest bought US$ 16 million in BitMine and US$ 7.5 million in Bullish stocks across three of its ETFs, increasing its exposure to cryptocurrency.

Cathie Wood's ARK Invest continued its wave of cryptocurrency stock purchases, adding more shares of BitMine Immersion Technologies and the Bullish cryptocurrency exchange to its key ETFs.

According to Friday's trading disclosures, ARK's Innovation ETF (ARKK), Next Generation Internet ETF (ARKW), and Fintech Innovation ETF (ARKF) collectively purchased over 387,000 shares of BitMine and 144,000 shares of Bullish.

Based on recent market prices, the purchases amount to approximately US$ 16 million in BitMine and US$ 7.5 million in Bullish stocks.

The largest purchase of BitMine came from ARKK, with 257,108 shares, followed by ARKW with 83,082, and ARKF with 47,135. In Bullish, ARKK again led with 81,811 shares, while ARKW and ARKF added 39,597 and 22,498 shares, respectively.

ARK continues buying Bullish

The latest round of allocations is based on ARK's initiative in August, when the firm acquired 2.53 million shares of Bullish on its first trading day, investing around US$ 172 million across all three ETFs.
