BitMine increases its Ethereum reserves to over 8 billion USD, holding 1.5% of the total ETH supply
BitMine Immersion Technologies has just purchased an additional 153,000 $ETH for 655 million USD, getting closer to its goal of owning 5% of the total Ethereum supply. Currently, this Las Vegas-based company holds approximately 1.86 million ETH, valued at 8.1 billion USD, equivalent to 1.5% of the total ETH supply.
Leading position and strategic vision
BitMine has become the largest holder of Ethereum in the world, surpassing even other funds and non-profit organizations. Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of the board of #Bitmine , believes that Ethereum is experiencing a "moment of 1971", similar to when the U.S. abandoned the gold standard, ushering in a new era for financial innovation. He believes that Ethereum will become the "winner" in the new era of digital assets, as Wall Street and AI use this network to build financial infrastructure.
Outlook for Ethereum
Although the price of ETH has recently decreased slightly, Lee remains optimistic. He predicts that the ETH/BTC ratio will recover and may surpass its all-time high, especially as Ethereum becomes the main platform for the financial system and AI in the future. He believes that when Bitcoin reaches 250,000 USD, the price of Ethereum could hit 12,000 USD if this ratio returns to the average of the past 8 years. #anh_ba_cong
