🇺🇸 TRUMP ON RUSSIA AND CHINA: "WE ARE TRYING FOR NUCLEAR DISARMAMENT... WE CANNOT ALLOW NUCLEAR WEAPONS TO PROLIFERATE"
Trump has been pushing this agenda since January: "There is no reason to build new nuclear weapons. We already have so many that you could destroy the world 50 times, 100 times". He says that Putin agreed to drastically reduce arsenals and China "would have joined too".
The current reality: Russia has 5,580 nuclear warheads, the US has 5,044, and China has 600 (but is growing rapidly). The New START treaty expires in 2026, leaving the superpowers without limits on their strategic forces for the first time since the Cold War.
🚀 While Trump talks about reduction, the US spends $75 BILLION annually on nuclear modernization - equivalent to TWO Manhattan Projects each year. The total program will cost $1.7 TRILLION over 30 years, equal to all US student debt.
China responded sarcastically: "The US represents 40% of global military spending ($895 billion). By advocating for 'America First', they should set an example by first reducing military spending". Russia claims to be ready to talk but wants a 5-country format, not 3.
⚡ The irony: Trump criticizes proliferation while ordering the Pentagon to prioritize nuclear modernization and expand missile defenses. Experts say this will only harden Beijing and Moscow's resistance to any limits.
