18,991 The Japanese hotel company that has transformed into a cryptocurrency investment company, Metaplant (TYO:3350), has increased its Bitcoin holdings again, having bought an additional 103 cryptocurrencies as part of its ongoing financial strategy.

The company announced that the purchase was made for 1.736 billion yen (11.8 million dollars) at an average price of about 16.86 million yen per Bitcoin.

With this latest acquisition, Metaplant's total Bitcoin inventory reaches 18,991 coins. The total amount spent on purchasing Bitcoin has now reached 285.83 billion yen.

The company has been intensively accumulating Bitcoin since it officially established Bitcoin treasury operations as an official line of business in December 2024.

Metaplant uses a unique measure, the "Bitcoin Yield," to assess the performance of its Bitcoin acquisition strategy in relation to shareholder dilution.
