Ripple has entered into a credit agreement with Gemini, providing a line of $$ 75 million, potentially expandable to $$ 150 million, to support the exchange before its IPO. The agreement allows Gemini to request loans starting from $$ 5 million, with interest between 6.5% and 8.5% per year, secured by collateral. Above $$ 75 million, the loans can be denominated in RLUSD, Ripple's stablecoin.

Gemini, which plans to be listed on Nasdaq as "GEMI", reported a loss of $$ 282.5 million in the first half of 2025, highlighting financial challenges. This strategic agreement provides liquidity to Gemini and promotes the institutional adoption of RLUSD.
