CoinVoice has learned that Yuxian, the founder of Slow Mist, has shared a security warning issued by Scam Sniffer, stating that today another user has lost approximately $1.54 million due to signing EIP-7702 phishing batch transactions, involving multiple tokens staked on Ethereum such as ETH and BTC.
This phishing method utilizes EIP-7702, allowing the user's EOA address to grant delegation authorization to MetaMask: EIP-7702 Delegator, and subsequently completing the token transfer operations through its contract call. This phishing tactic has been industrialized by mainstream phishing gangs, and if users are inadvertently lured into trading, they risk losing their entire account assets.
Yuxian reminds users to verify the authenticity of websites and links before confirming transactions to prevent fraud. [Original link]
