@humafinance: The PayFi Revolution Reshaping Global Payments and Credit

The global payments and credit market is facing efficiency bottlenecks, and Huma Finance (HUMA) is challenging this with its innovative PayFi (Payment Finance) network. It aims to leverage blockchain technology to accelerate cross-border payments and provide solutions for income-based credit without traditional collateral.

Huma's core value lies in combining real-world assets (RWA) with on-chain credit. Businesses can convert their invoices, payroll, or remittances into digitized receivables deposited on the platform, allowing them to immediately advance stablecoins like USDC or USDT. Liquidity providers (LPs) receive stable returns generated from real payment activities by providing funds (currently, the annualized yield for USDC is about 10.5%). This model not only addresses the cash flow turnover pain points of small and micro enterprises but also transforms the traditional DeFi reliance on token incentives into sustainable returns driven by real economic activities.

Notably, Huma has demonstrated excellent performance in robust operations. By mid-2025, its platform has processed approximately $3.8 billion to $4.5 billion in transaction volume, issued over $2.3 billion in loans, and maintained an outstanding record of zero defaults. This is closely related to the team's rich experience (from backgrounds such as Arf, Circle, etc.) and its institutional-level risk control design (such as requiring funds to be deposited into a security account and establishing a first-loss reserve SPV structure).

Recently, Huma partnered with Arf and Geoswift to launch an innovative cross-border settlement solution aimed at helping global e-commerce platform merchants reduce settlement times from days or even weeks to same-day receipts, significantly improving merchants' cash flow. This marks the practical implementation of its concept of “on-chain future income” and is expected to generate economies of scale.

With the improvement of governance functions and the advancement of multi-chain expansion, the value capture capability of the Huma ecosystem is expected to be further enhanced. It is not just another lending protocol but an infrastructure dedicated to reshaping the efficiency of global capital flows.
