The next Federal Reserve meeting is scheduled to be held from September 16 to 17, 2025, and the market widely expects that this meeting will initiate interest rate cuts. According to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME)'s FedWatch tool, the market estimates that there is an 85% probability of the Federal Reserve cutting rates by 25 basis points at this meeting. In addition, several institutions, including Goldman Sachs, also predict that the Federal Reserve will start cutting rates in September, followed by further cuts in October and December.
