Lotte's subsidiary integrates the Aptos public chain to create a new ecosystem.

South Korea's Lotte Group's advertising and marketing company Daehong Communications announced on July 30 that it is integrating the Aptos public chain to jointly create a blockchain ecosystem based on the real economy called Money Movement.

Through this integration, Daehong will put digital assets such as electronic vouchers and membership points on-chain, enhancing transparency and application value, and paving the way for future stablecoin opportunities.

Putting all electronic vouchers on-chain, Giftiel's trial has achieved great results.

Lotte Group stated that the Money Movement ecosystem is a blockchain framework that can instantly track and verify digital assets such as mobile electronic vouchers, membership loyalty points, flight mileage, and stablecoins, allowing their generation, transfer, and use in the real-world economy.

The core feature of Money Movement is that all transaction records are recorded on the blockchain, achieving transparent asset ownership management.

Currently, Daehong has integrated the mobile electronic voucher service "Giftiel" operated by its subsidiary Spoon with the Aptos blockchain and launched a trial operation. After integration, the complete lifecycle of the electronic vouchers from issuance, distribution to redemption is executed on-chain.

According to a report from Japanese media (あたらしい経済), during the trial operation phase after integration, Giftiel has achieved good results, with over 500,000 users holding electronic vouchers on the Aptos chain, and the cumulative issuance has exceeded one million.

By putting electronic vouchers on-chain, users can clearly track their assets, and it also helps merchants gain precise operational insights based on highly reliable data.

He further pointed out that with the improvement of future stablecoin-related regulations, the practicality of digital assets established on the basis of Giftiel services in the real economy is expected to expand further, which will help promote the mainstream adoption of Web3.
