In our community update from July 2025, we transparently outlined the major challenges facing Skyren DAO, including departures from the development team, technical complexities related to implementing our tokenized yield system, and increasing financial pressures. At that time, we expressed our commitment to overcoming these obstacles through various strategic initiatives and restructuring.
Today, it is with deep regret that we must announce that despite our unwavering efforts and dedication, Skyren DAO will cease all operations effective immediately. This decision was not made lightly and comes only after exhausting all viable alternatives to sustain the project.
Closure timeline
The liquidation process will be methodical and comprehensive, with all activities to be concluded by 2026:
Q4 2025: Formal cessation of all development activities and secure archiving of the codebase
Q1 2026: Comprehensive asset evaluation and preparation for sale
Q2 2026: Discussions on asset acquisitions and disposals
Q3-Q4 2026: Final evaluation of the liquidation proceeds and distribution of available funds to presale participants

We understand the disappointment that this announcement brings, especially to those who have been with us from the beginning. Your enthusiasm, feedback, and commitment have been the driving force behind our efforts, and we are eternally grateful to you.
Even though this is not the expected outcome, the relationships built and the lessons learned from this project remain valuable. The blockchain world continues to evolve rapidly, and we are convinced that many of the concepts developed by Skyren will find their place in future successful projects.
