Many people participating in DeFi share a common confusion: while the yields seem high, they fluctuate too rapidly, and interest rates today and tomorrow could be completely different. The Treehouse protocol aims to address this issue — how to make on-chain yields more stable and easier to predict.
Treehouse has two core tools. The first is called tAssets, which can be understood as an "advanced version of staked assets." Ordinary staked ETH only provides fixed rewards; however, tAssets will perform additional actions behind the scenes: borrowing low-interest funds with staked assets and continuing to stake, compounding the returns. This way, the tAssets you receive not only appreciate but also earn more than ordinary staking. More importantly, it can be used in other DeFi protocols, serving as a "more powerful universal building block for yields."
The second tool is DOR (Decentralized Offered Rate). In traditional finance, interest rate benchmarks like LIBOR determine the prices of loans, bonds, and other products. However, these benchmarks are often opaque and can be manipulated. Treehouse's DOR is entirely different: it is based on interest rate data submitted and verified by community members, with the system selecting the most reasonable reference rate through reward and penalty mechanisms. The DOR formed this way is not only fair and transparent but can also become a common benchmark for all fixed-income products in the DeFi world.
To encourage more participation, Treehouse has also designed the GoNuts program. Whether holding tAssets, participating in liquidity, or collecting NFTs, users can earn points that can be exchanged for rewards in the future. This ensures that every contribution from the community is recognized.
The center of the entire ecosystem is the TREE token. It represents governance rights and can also be used for incentives and ecosystem development. Treehouse has already confirmed that the token release (TGE) will be completed on July 29, 2025.
In summary: The Treehouse protocol is establishing the "infrastructure for fixed income in DeFi." tAssets improve yield efficiency, DOR provides a reliable interest rate benchmark, and TREE and GoNuts connect the community and the ecosystem. It makes on-chain yields no longer difficult to predict, but rather more stable, transparent, and suitable for long-term development.
