U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary Falkend Set to Depart
According to reports from Hashi Chain, U.S. Treasury Deputy Secretary Michael Falkend will leave the government less than five months after his Senate confirmation. Falkend was responsible for the daily operations of the Treasury Department and briefly served as acting director in the leadership of the IRS. Additionally, he is the second Senate-confirmed official from the Treasury Department to leave this month, following the departure of IRS Commissioner Billy Long. During his tenure, Falkend was involved in the formulation of tax policies related to the tax and spending legislation signed by Trump.
