2025-08-21 Night Line
Today I finished visiting the Yungang Grottoes and arrived in Ulanqab, where there were beautiful fiery clouds. Traveling really only feels great on the first day and when returning; the rest of the time, apart from feeling tired, there’s not much else to feel.
The day line is in a broad fluctuation, while the 4-hour line is in a pullback, going up and down repeatedly. Before institutions provide a clear stance, there isn’t much of a clear trend, it's just going sideways, rising and falling.
For friends doing intraday trading, this is a great market condition, with relatively clear tops and bottoms. As long as you don't overthink it, just take a small bite and run, it’s almost a guaranteed profit.
For those playing the medium to long term, it’s a bit uncomfortable now; once you get in, you have to endure the pullbacks. If you leave, you fear missing out or selling too early; if you stay, it’s just constant pullbacks.
There are orders near the previous low, so I won’t follow that. Since it’s clear there are still two more rate cuts expected ahead, just hold on to the bottom as long as your coins aren’t too “wild” altcoins.
Bitcoin just needs to hold 1130 to remain bullish, although weak. Ethereum and Solana are performing relatively better; as long as Ethereum doesn’t break below 4192~4140, it still remains bullish. Solana has inexplicably strengthened, and on the K-line, the bullish strength is much stronger than Bitcoin and Ethereum. If it can close above 187, it will become a strong bullish trend.
In this kind of poor market, I really don’t know what can be analyzed; the positions are very fleeting, just a touch and it bounces up, or a touch and it goes down. Holding the lower attachments, back and forth short waves are all appropriate.
If it breaks the horizontal line, don’t enter; wait until it closes above to enter, with the stop loss set below the solid line of the previous K. Alternatively, if it breaks above, don't enter; if it breaks the horizontal line, then enter, placing the stop loss above the solid line of the previous K. Be patient, don’t use too high leverage, and keep your position size reasonable; steady gains are still possible.
Relatively speaking, shorting carries higher risks. If you only short the four giants, the downside is limited, but the upside isn't. If you can’t seem to make money, consider only going long in one direction.
I don’t envy the rise of OKB; the long road tests a horse’s strength. The ecological construction of OKB is not just a gap of a day or two, nor a year or two behind BNB.
Don't just look at the rise of OKB and swap your bottom position BNB for OKB; that would be quite a foolish thing to do.
