India resumes purchases of Russian oil after brief pause - Bloomberg
Traders report that Indian Oil Corp. and Bharat Petroleum Corp. have secured several shipments of Urals crude for September and October over the past two days.
"Russia will continue selling oil to India despite US threats," said Roman Babushkin, a representative of the Russian Embassy in India.
On August 19, US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent accused New Delhi of profiting from Russian oil by refining it and reselling it to third countries.
