It feels meaningless to keep writing, it's just the same 😐. The project has been written for quite a while, guys, just take a casual look!

How to put it, BounceBit is not 'creating another Bitcoin chain', but rather connecting compliant custody + on-chain composability: after BTC (or stablecoins) are deposited into regulated custody, LCT (Liquid Custody Token) is generated, mapped 1:1 for on-chain use; users retain the source of custody earnings. At the core is an EVM-compatible, dual-token PoS L1, where BTC and native equity jointly participate in security. After the mainnet launch in May 2024, this path of 'CeFi guarantee + DeFi release' will be essentially formed.

How to use it (The shortest process from the user's perspective)

Step 1: Deposit assets at the official entrance or partner channel, and the system automatically mints BBTC/BBUSD and other LCT; Step 2: Bridge LCT to the BounceBit chain to participate in re-staking, stable earnings, or strategy products; Step 3: Redeem custody-side assets at any time according to the rules. The core experience is 'positions in custody, liquidity on-chain', avoiding the friction of moving assets back and forth. The official documentation and guidelines clarify the entry points for obtaining LCT, cross-chain processes, and FAQs, so beginners can follow the steps without getting lost.

Differences at the product level (What’s the difference?)

One is Liquid Custody itself: it doesn't completely move assets away, but establishes a real-time mapping between custody and on-chain, allowing LCT to be reused on-chain (staking, re-staking, LP, strategies), while the underlying assets remain in a regulated environment. The other is strategies like Premium Yield / Prime: mainly focused on 'auditable market-neutral strategies' (such as funding rate/basis arbitrage), targeting BTC and stablecoins, reducing the volatility of pure DeFi returns; these products require you to lock BBTC/BBUSD in a specified chain/contract, with specific thresholds and rules outlined in the announcement.
