WalletConnect recently announced that its network layering architecture will support a multi-layer node system consisting of a "session layer," "message layer," and "service layer." WCT will be used for the service layer incentive mechanism, helping to build a highly available, low-latency connection network.

The session layer is responsible for initializing connections between users and DApps; the message layer is responsible for pushing transaction and notification requests; and the service layer includes third-party service calls (such as identity authentication, activity verification, etc.). This significantly expands WalletConnect's capabilities.

WCT is not only a basic settlement tool but also a credential for node access and governance; users can use WCT as collateral to participate in network consensus. In the future, WCT will become the "GAS of the on-chain communication layer" in services such as DID, chat, and transaction confirmation.

For any developer or infrastructure builder, the WCT network is an indispensable part of building on-chain applications in the future, representing "the value of connection." #WalletConnect @WalletConnect $WCT
