Market Sentiment
Liquidation Data:
Today's Greed/Fear Index: 57, overall sentiment is relatively neutral with a fierce tug-of-war between bulls and bears, but short-term bears have the upper hand. The rebound strength of Bitcoin and Ethereum is significantly insufficient, with bears ready to suppress at any time, and trading sentiment is becoming cautious.
According to the current BTC liquidation map, today's market liquidations are primarily dominated by bears. Based on the current Bitcoin price around $115,000, if the market fluctuates by $2,000 up or down, and rises again to around $117,000, it is expected that the cumulative liquidatable amount for bears is about $1.5 billion. Conversely, if the market drops to around $113,000, the cumulative liquidatable amount for bulls is expected to be about $3.3 billion;
According to the current ETH liquidation map, both bulls and bears are relatively equal in strength today. Based on Ethereum's price around $4,260, if it fluctuates by $100 up or down, and rises again to around $4,360, it is expected that the liquidatable amount for bears is about $1 billion. Conversely, if Ethereum drops to around $4,260, the cumulative liquidatable amount for bulls is expected to be about $1.4 billion.
ETF Fund Flows:
In the past two days, the spot ETFs for BTC and ETH have shifted from continuous net inflows to net outflows, with BlackRock experiencing the largest outflow. The funding situation has weakened, and investor sentiment has clearly cooled.
On August 19, BTC ETF statistics showed a total trading volume of $3 billion and a total net asset value of $151.2 billion.
BTC spot ETF: net outflow of $122 million, with BlackRock having the largest net outflow.
ETH spot ETF: net inflow of $197 million, which is more favored by institutions recently compared to Bitcoin, but currently experiencing more net outflows as well.
On-chain Data & K-Line Trends:
On-chain activity has declined, and short-term buying support is insufficient.
On the K-line, the rebounds of Bitcoin and Ethereum are frequently hindered, indicating a lack of momentum for chasing prices in the market.
Overall, the market has entered a 'weak and powerless' consolidation phase, with bears temporarily in control, and bulls can only struggle to defend at key support levels. Buying when no one cares 😁
