Today, I saw that Henan Province released the 'Regulations on the Management of Involved Property (Draft)' which mentioned virtual currency, making me feel a bit emotional.
How to put it, virtual currency is recognized as having property attributes, but domestic trading is completely prohibited, so how to deal with it specifically still lacks a unified standard. The Ministry of Public Security is currently designing at the top level, and local authorities do not dare to set rules arbitrarily.
For us retail investors, this actually serves as a reminder not to think about taking gray market routes. Once virtual currency is involved in a case, and the disposal method is unclear, it may lead to total loss. Before investing, we not only need to consider price fluctuations, but also policy risks.
Looking at it from a long-term perspective, once national-level regulations are clarified, legal channels may be stricter, but they will also be more stable. Therefore, in the short term, what we can do is to follow the rules, pay more attention to policies, and manage risks well.
